Notice: For those who are experiencing it not working, it is most likely having to do with the program somehow updating itself resulting in the program over-writing the 'cracked' version you downloaded.

After you open it for the first time, you will most likely see a "download to newest version" dialog box appear, click on "Skip this version." It will ask you twice, make sure to skip. After that, go into the preferences and into 'Privacy & Updates' and make sure you uncheck "Share anonymous usage data", "Check for applications updates automatically", and 'Update to Beta versions when available" if any of these are checked, uncheck them. You can most likely leave the last checkbox checked: Check for CleanMyMac Safety Database" which is a good idea to leave checked because it updates the the rules and exceptions algorithms for cleaning your system.
